For those of you living with diabetes, high five, this series is dedicated to you. For those of you who don’t know much about diabetes, glad you made it. Please view my art series as a forum for learning. Forget the diabetes jokes you’ve heard on TV, and dismiss those silly stereotypes. This is the real stuff, the daily highs and lows, an honest and candid account. Keep an open mind. It may help you gain insight into someone you care about.
When more people truly understand diabetes, advocacy will grow and we will find that elusive cure.
